Excursion Tunisie arranges private day trips from your hotel in Hammamet, Sousse, Monastir or Tunis. We book the vehicle and the driver directly, with no middleman, and we quote one price per vehicle, the same amount whether you are two or six.
A local coordinator for your excursions in Tunisia
Excursion Tunisie is not an agency reselling somebody else's tours. We are excursion coordinators: we know the drivers personally, we set the timings with them, we check the vehicles and we answer your messages ourselves. There is nobody between you and the road.
That changes two very concrete things. First the price: with no agency commission and no hotel-desk tour seller, what you pay covers the vehicle, the fuel, the tolls and the driver, and nothing else. Then the flexibility: if you want to leave an hour earlier, linger in Sidi Bou Said or eat somewhere other than the planned restaurant, you simply tell the driver.
We coordinate seven itineraries, from Grand Tunis to Friguia Park, all in a private vehicle and never in a shared group. You pick the day, we handle everything else, and we stay reachable on WhatsApp before, during and after your excursion.

What does a tour coordinator actually do?
An agency sells you a finished product. A coordinator assembles your day with the people who actually deliver it: the driver, the vehicle, the route, the timings. Here is what that means in practice.
We pick the driver, not a catalogue entry
Our drivers are local and speak French and English; several also speak Italian or German. We know which one knows Dougga best, which one is most patient with children, which one to send where.
We build the route around your day
Departure at 08:00 or 09:00, whichever you prefer, and back by 18:00 or earlier. The order of the stops, how long you spend at each one and where you eat all bend to your pace: nothing is locked to a coach timetable.
We book a private vehicle, never a shared seat
Air-conditioned sedan, van or minibus depending on the group size. You never ride with other customers and there is no hotel-by-hotel pickup round before you set off.
We stay your single point of contact
One person answers you, from your first message to the drop-off back at your hotel. No call centre, no file passed on, no number that stops replying once you have paid.
One price per vehicle, never per person
This is the clearest difference from an excursion sold at a hotel desk. There, a rate is multiplied by the number of people; here you hire a day of private vehicle with its driver and split the bill however you like. With four travellers, a Grand Tunis excursion at €80 works out at €20 each.
The advertised price is the price of the vehicle for the whole day, whatever the number of travellers within the bracket.
It covers fuel, tolls, parking and the driver who speaks your language.
Site entry tickets and lunch stay free of the package: you choose the restaurant and pay on the spot.
No deposit and no card details up front. You pay the driver on the day, in euros or dinars.
Departing from Sousse or Monastir adds €10, from Tunis €20. These supplements are quoted before you book, never discovered on the road.

The three kinds of excursion we coordinate
Our seven days fall into three families. They differ in length, in pace and in who they suit, that is the first thing to look at when choosing your excursion in Tunisia.
Heritage and UNESCO sites
Grand Tunis with Carthage and Sidi Bou Said, El Jem and Kairouan, Dougga and Bulla Regia. Full days of 8 to 10 hours built around Roman archaeology and holy cities. Choose these if you came for the history and don't mind two to three hours of driving.
Nature, coast and villages
Cap Bon with Kerkouane, Haouaria and the springs of Korbous; the Sahel from Port El Kantaoui to Monastir; the Zaghouan massif with the abandoned Berber village of Zriba Loulia and the Water Temple. Landscape matters more than monuments, and stops are shorter and more frequent.
Family and half-day
Friguia Park at Bouficha, a semi-open safari, back at the hotel around 13:00. Four hours are enough, child seats come at no extra cost, and it is the cheapest format we run. Ideal with young children or for a first outing that doesn't eat the whole day.
Where our excursions in Tunisia start
We collect you from your hotel, your Airbnb, your residence or any address you give us, at 08:00 or 09:00. You are dropped back at the same point by 18:00 at the latest, and earlier if you wish.
Hammamet
Our base. Every itinerary leaves from here at the reference rate, including Yasmine Hammamet and Nabeul.
Sousse
Port El Kantaoui and central Sousse, €10 supplement. The Sahel and El Jem are the closest days out.
Monastir
Skanès and the town centre, €10 supplement. Slightly earlier departure for the north of the country.
Tunis
Tunis, La Marsa, Gammarth and around, €20 supplement. Grand Tunis becomes a comfortable half-day.
